LMA EWL Timelines 2013 – 2019

The expected East West Link – Comprehensive Impact Statement (CIS) will be open for submissions from 31st October 2013.

Residents Against the Tunnel (RAT) have guidelines on their website to assist you in making an submission. The City of Yarra have organised a public forum to discuss East West Link impacts and CIS on 7 November, 6pm-8.30pm at Fitzroy Town Hall,  please read on for additional details.

The public exhibition period for the impact assessment of the East West Link will be the next major milestone for the project, Minister for Planning Matthew Guy said today.  The Comprehensive Impact Statement (CIS) prepared by the Linking Melbourne Authority outlines how a range of environmental, social and heritage matters will be addressed.  “I have determined that the CIS will be exhibited for 30 business days, the maximum amount of exhibit time within the legislation, so people have plenty of time to review it,” Mr Guy said. It is understood that the Linking Melbourne Authority will commence exhibition shortly. More in link.
