The Age: Letters (7 December 2013) Sham ‘consultation’
Submissions on the impact of the east-west tunnel have yet to be heard. So why are owners of properties marked for demolition already receiving ”Notice to Quit” letters?
Could the Napthine government at least make a slight effort to pretend it is listening to the objections of those adversely affected by the tunnel? After all, many of us are appalled by this expensive and destructive road which, at best, will merely move congestion to what is currently a lovely and well-utilised park?
